This was my night. I’ve been a fan for a good 6-7 years now. Throughout the bullshit. Even when he was with Blessthefall. This night was the best. During the second song he held my hand and kissed it. Held my hand during Something and serenaded me. Then when I was talking to him he gave me the tightest hug. I thanked him for being a huge inspiration in my life and saving me. Then he kissed me on the cheek. He is such a sweetheart. He’s perfect.
I still can’t get over the guy photo bombing Like he looks as happy as I feel. So I don’t even care.
Austin Carlile and I on April 8th 2011. I look like such a baby and I was only 17. Seriously though, the best night of my life. He pulled me onto stage with him. And we stood there with his arms wrapped around me singing Second & Sebring. Meant the fucking world to me. There were a couple tears in my eyes after that. Not because I was fan girling(I may add this was the 8th time I saw and met OM&M) But because I know how much that song means to him. And of all people that were up front against the stage, it was me he grabbed.
Vans Warped Tour July 11th 2012. During the meet and greet with Of Mice & Men I was talking to Austin and Tino about how this was the 10th time I’ve seen and met them. They were speechless. And both said how honored they were. They thanked me. I had a picture of them all from the free books they pass out at Warped Tour. Well Austin grabbed this and asked why my name is. Wrote down my name and circled the number ten. After that was all said and done they both said they would look for me in the crowd. I had a neon green shirt on so they said it’d be easier. During their set I made my way front and center. Austin seen me. He smiled, winked, and waved. This was seriously the best day of my life. Oh and I ended up getting their set list. This band has saved my life so many times.

My ampersand. My Of Mice & Men tattoo. My heroes. Its cliche but honestly, if it wasnt for this band I would be dead. I’ve seen this band live 11 times and met them 10. My heroes.

“Stay Gold” I got this tattoo right before my fathers birthday. When I was in 7th grade I read the book The Outsiders. And fell in love. Well every time that movie was on TV my father and I would watch it. So i got this for him. My father is my hero.
